L&G, the Ukrainian CS:GO eSports team ranked 117th in the HLTV world ranking and hit the top five Ukrainian CS:GO teams. Legends of Ukrainian Counter-Strike — the NAVI team — dropped out of the updated rating due to the loss of three players.
Oleksandr Dovzhenko, founder and head of the agency ENTER ESPORT, which promotes L&G, called this situation incredible. Because after the exclusion of NAVI from HLTV ranking, the status of the strongest Ukrainian CS:GO team passed to Monte.

“The latest update to the World Team Rankings (HLTV) is historic and sensational! This is primarily related to the legendary Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere, which, due to the replacement of three players, has not been included in the list. This caused a change in the status of the best Ukrainian CS:GO team, now this place was taken by the Monte team — 11th in the world. L&G has reached 117th place in the world rating — 4 points increase. This has never happened! I can’t wait to see what’s next”
After updating the HLTV rating, L&G ranked 5th among the Ukrainian teams represented in the list. Ukrainian teams at HLTV:

- B8 — 60th (+3)
- IKLA UA — 93rd (-6)
- Lazer Cats — 105th (-1)
- L&G — 117th (+4)
- NAVI Junior — 132 (+3)
- The Witchers —177 (+4)
- ClayMakers — 206 (+4)
- NAVI — Unrated
Thus, L&G entered the top five Ukrainian CS:GO clubs. Oleksandr Dovzhenko from ENTER ESPORT is sure that the L&G are very close to the TOP-3.

The L&G eSports team was founded in 2021. Initially, it was called Leogaming. The idea of the team belongs to the famous Alona Shevtsova from the fintech sector.
The team began to perform in top tournaments and almost immediately made its way to the Advanced division of the ESEA League Europe competitions. It is worth noting that the team also participated and won prizes in such European tournaments as SCL League, WhiteBit Crypto Open, Phoenix League, and various competitions.
In March 2023, the Leogaming team was rebranded to L&G. At the same time, the team went to a whole new level by inviting David Merl Davidyan and Vladislav Leen Stepanov. L&G signed an agreement with a new coach, Dmitry Rjy Chumak, who became the mentor of the team.
This year, L&G made it to the playoff of the 45th season of the ESEA League Advanced tournament of the European division and won three matches. For L&G, this is the second playoff in the ESEA League Advanced. Previously, our team made it to the play-off stage in the 43rd season of the ESEA League Advanced tournament. At that time, the team defeated 9 opponents in the main draw.
