The Ukrainian CS:GO team L&G successfully started in the European tournament United21 Season 4. Our esportsmens defeated the first opponent — the Ukrainian team BornToFlex, represented by former L&G players fenny and sleiden.
In one of the most striking matches L&G won a victory over the opponents with a score of 2:0 (22:20, 19:17).
The United21 Season 4 tournament runs from July 13 to July 30 for European teams. Its prize pool is $5,000. The United21 Season 4 involves 16 teams playing in four groups. The 8 best teams advance to the playoffs.
L&G received an invitation from the organizers of United21 Season 4 tournament, the team plays in group A. Subsequently, L&G can meet the Lithuanian team 7 Reasons esports (also group A), which defeated the Czech players Dynamo Eclot Thunders.
Ukrainian L&G broke into the top-100 world CS:GO ranking. The Ukrainian team took the 97th position in the HLTV rating in July.
L&G is also participating in the European Pro League Season 9 tournament, to which it received a direct invitation from the organizers. Its prize pool is $20,000. The tournament runs from July 10 to July 27. On July 10, L&G defeated Viperio from Britain with a score of 2:1.
Before the start of the European Pro League Season 9,L&G was ranked 117th in the HLTV world ranking and was among the top five Ukrainian teams in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive prior to the start of the European Pro League Season 9. At its peak, L&G was ranked 106th in the world by HLTV. Now the team occupies the 97th position in the world CS:GO.
The L&G eSports team was founded in 2021. Initially, it was called Leogaming. The idea of the team belongs to the famous Alona Shevtsova from the fintech sector.
